4. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security and privacy of your personal and health information seriously. We use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to safeguard your data, including an electronic health record system for clinical records, scheduling, and telehealth, and a secure communication platform for calls and messaging. All such platforms use encryption and access controls to ensure data security and confidentiality, and we have business associate agreements in place with each as required by HIPAA.
In addition, we maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including:

6. Services for Children and Adolescents
As a provider of psychiatric services to minors, we may collect information about a child or adolescent from their parent or legal guardian, from the minor directly where the minor is of an age to consent to their own treatment under applicable Pennsylvania law, or from other sources with proper authorization.
For minors under 14, we generally collect information from and communicate with the parent or legal guardian as the minor's personal representative.
For minors age 14 and older who consent to their own outpatient mental health treatment under Pennsylvania Act 147 of 2004, the minor controls their own treatment information. We follow the minor's consent and communication preferences, subject to limited exceptions described in our Notice of Privacy Practices and our Minor Consent and Parent-Access Framework.
Regarding our website specifically, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We comply with applicable privacy laws governing minors' health information, including the Pennsylvania Mental Health Procedures Act, Pennsylvania Act 147 of 2004, and HIPAA.
7. Your Rights
Regarding information we collect through our website (contact form submissions, cookies, and similar non-PHI data):
- You may request information about what we have collected and request correction or deletion, subject to any record-retention obligations
- You may opt out of cookies through your browser settings (see Section 8)
- You may withdraw any consent you have given for optional collection
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the information above.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience and understand how visitors use our website. These do not collect Protected Health Information.
9. Contact Form Submissions
Our website includes a contact form for inquiries about services or to request an initial appointment. When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide (typically your name, contact details, and a brief message).
- How we use contact form data: to respond to your inquiry, to schedule an initial appointment if you are seeking care, and to maintain a record of initial contact.
- How long we keep it contact form data: we retain contact form submissions for a reasonable period appropriate to the inquiry — for inquiries that lead to becoming a patient, the contact is incorporated into the patient record and governed by the NPP and our Records Retention Policy. For inquiries that do not lead to a patient relationship, we retain the contact for up to two years and then delete it.
- How we use it for communication: we do not add contact form submitters to any marketing or mailing list and do not initiate communication beyond responding to your specific inquiry.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., mental health resources, telehealth platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through our website for only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions: see Section 9
- Website analytics data: as configured in our analytics tools (typically 14-26 months for default Google Analytics configurations)
- Protected Health Information: governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and Records Retention Policy, not this Privacy Policy
12. Changes to This Policy
